Sharing the Love

Something fabulous happened this weekend and I'm excited to share it with you. Some of ya'll might have already seen that the PurpleHater made me my very own award. How cool is that?
Isn't it pretty?! He's on a roll lately with making fun awards for other doggies too, but this one is my very own!! And I get to share it with who ever I want. First I have to make rules to go with it.

So the rules for this award are:

• Put the award on your blog and link to who gave it to you.
• Give a nod to Purple Hatter who made the award
• Share a picture or story of how you 'Showed Some Love' lately
  
• Give the award to at least 5 (or more) of your blogging buddies who you believe have showed some love and ask them to share their picture or story too!!
  

As you can see in the award I was loving on my happy bear monkey from Indie & Rufus. So I will pass along to them first.

Good News, Bad News

Which do you want first? I'll start with bad so we can end on a happy note.

For those who follow my blog you've surely seen the side image of the SI cover for some time now, I just learned that the cover girl Sweet Jasmine passed away. RIP pretty girl and thank you for helping to break some stereotypes!

For the good news, I won a great award from my friend Daisy!!
And this is "The Best Ever Animal Lovers Award" How cool is that?! It shows Daisy thinking of her brother that she lost recently Sprocket who was a rescue and she wants us to spread the word about how awesome rescue is! I know because I'm a rescued dog too!!

So the rules for this award are:

...For fun with "MakeMeBabies"

Mom just learned about some precious pups that are in need of some great homes and had to post about them because she claims she's in love. She talks about Dennis all the time and how funny he is and blah blah blah.

Then this photo popped up in her in-box and she freaked out!! "OMG" she said "It's as if Princess and Dennis had babies!! They are just too cute!!"
What do you think?!

ETA: I'm spayed, so I won't be having pups anytime soon. Mom advocates rescue!!

Apologies

Mom wants to apologize to everyone for being bad about helping me post. Apparently her and FTB set the date for the wedding as January 2, 2010. She says that's really close and because it is I might not get to post as much as she'll be super busy until she gets more of her vendors squared away.

Don't worry even if I'm not writing a lot I'll get her to post cute pictures of me. So you think there'll be this much snow on the ground in Dallas in January? Yeah I didn't think so either...but we can still hope...I love snow!!

Dream Thursday

I received this Dream Award from my fellow pink nosed pit bull Mina. I'm glad she shared it with me but I'm not sure I can match her beauty secrets.

The rules of the award state that I have to give 7 beauty secrets and pass along to 7 other blogs.

1. get lots of sleep, on back with legs in air or while taking over mom's bed
2. eat dog food omelets as often as grandma will make them, lots of protein in those eggs!
3. run on a regular basis for a good figure (can help with long nails too)
4. cleanse regularly by eating lots of grass (just don't thow up on mom's bed like i did this morning, she doesn't like it)
5. stick head out window of car for that nice 'wind blown' look
6. have a pink nose, it makes all the humans swoon. (or substitue pink boa if you can't change you're nose color)
7. find kitten roommate a new home (like i did!) so you can be queen of the house again and less anxious

Mom's stealing my spotlight to post one last picture of this guy...I guess he is kind of cute...but just kind of.

Visitor

I've been told this is the cat that is staying with us. But I haven't met him yet, mom says I'm not good with Cats, but I just think their too fun not to chase.

We were all watching a movie when we heard a loud meowing out back, when mom got up to look she saw a small travel crate resting on the back retainer wall. After futher inspection, the cat was already out and by the back door.

Mom is so angry that someone thought they could just throw their cat away over someones fence in the crate. But she's taken him in to help find him a new a loving home because its not his fault he had crummy owners.
