Well I don't know how much you all know about Texas, but most everyone knows it's hot!
My parents have been back just a little over two weeks now and about 14 of those days have been over 100 degrees! They were used to the lower than 80s in that foreign place and they are having a hard time coping.
I'm teaching them the ropes of how to deal with heat, morning walks, lots of water, and so on.
I have to help dad out a little more though and this is how I do it...
See he's been sweating a lot so I help keep him dry and cool. Mom says it's pretty disgusting and she doesn't understand it or like it, but there's just something about that salty flavor...

Our pooches love to do that too. I don't like it, but they go to town on E, especially when he's sleeping. I've never had dogs that licked so much, is this a pitbull thing? Or a girl dog thing?

ReplyDeleteI LOVE to lick my dad! And I'm a dude, and in NY! But I am part pitty :-) I don't lick mom much, but I love to lick dad. Mom always tells him it's because he's more sweaty than she is, but dad tells mom it's because I like him better than her! I don't say anything, because it's fun to watch them argue about who I like more. Secretly, I love them both the same!

Good job, Princess! Whenever my mom gets back from her jog in the morning, I luvs to lick, lick, lick her, too! After awhile, she's like, "AAH! Stop!" I don't know why.
