Elevated Days!

Hi everyone!! This is a long time coming, but I finally got my grandparents to take some pictures of me. They've just been so busy playing fetch, taking me on walks and runs, making me omelets, and letting me cuddle on the big bed with them that they forget to pull the camera out!

But since they noticed I have a habit of crawling up into their outside chairs they thought they'd get me something of my very own. See below it's one of those outdoor elevated cot/bed thingies. And see their chairs in the background? They're almost the same type of material so I love it already!

Hope your all doing well! Mom and dad are doing good and started a blog of their own for their travels (copy-cats!!!) so I get to see what they're up to. Mom says she misses me a lot and has been taking tons of pictures of dogs who get to go everywhere with their humans in Europe, she even has got to pet some and throw a ball for one in Hyde Park. (I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous, I'm not jealous...)

Another reason for an update now, my FFM (former foster mom) will be letting me stay over at her house the next couple weeks, because apparently my grandparents want to go visit mom! FFM says she's going to take loads of pictures and help me post on my blog as well!!

I look forward to hearing from you all!! :o)

Say Hello to My Little Friend

Some of you may have seen Beckett on my blog in the past. He's my Foster Mom's son and lots of fun to play with.

I got to see him again this weekend and here are some fun pictures that his mom took.
What are you doing in that bucket strange little man?!

Mmm...goldfish!!

Mom taught Beckett how to feed me goldfish out of his mouth! She does this sometimes with Cheetos and I take the part that's hanging out of her (or his) mouth ever so gently. Yum!!

Don't worry Murphy, I'll get to your tag later this week I hope!

Fourth Anniversary

I thought I would cross post this from my Foster Mom's page as it's the beginning of my story of how I came to live with my current mom; the start of my life being the loved and spoiled pit bull that I am now! I try to do my best to show how much I appreciate it everyday! Thank you FM!!

Happy 4th anniversary Princess

Treat Time

Mom picked me up yesterday evening after work at my foster mom's(FM) house and I was SOOO excited to see her. (she has a scratch on her arm from when I jumped on her to prove it)

I had so much fun there getting spoiled, playing with fun people since she has a little boy and other house guests this weekend. Mom and FM were a little nervous to just let me start playing with the other two dogs that live there since we hadn't played in over two years. So we were seperated most of the weekend.

But last night I got a walk with mom, FM, Beckett, and Bellona. Bellona and I were on our best behavior to prove to them that we could be nice and play nice. So when we got back to the house we got to spend time together, but since it was so hot out we were pooped and just layed around...that is until it was treat time....
More picture of the weekend to come...

House Guest

Going to visit and stay with my Foster mom this weekend, while mom is out of town yet again.

She has two dogs that I used to play really well with, but I haven't seen them in some time. Hopefully we'll get a little play time, otherwise I'm happy to just love on my foster mom, her son, and any other guests that will be around!!

This is Bellona, one of her two dogs and the Queen B of the house. Can't wait to see and/or sniff them all out tonight!

Should be lots of great pictures after the weekend, because she's got a fancy camera she likes using.

New Summer Fashion

So it's been a while since I've had this, but mom says it's my new summer collar. It's really cute and is from Teeny Tiny Collars, even though I'm no where near teeny tiny! Mom custom ordered this one for big dogs and was really excited when it came in. She says it's got hedgehogs families on it. Too bad they aren't big enough for me to chew up like my stuffie hedgehog!!

She also added my Collar Tag to it which is a quiet dog tag! Mom loves it because I don't wake her up in the middle of the night and I love it because I can sneak up behind her in the kitchen waiting for something to drop!! :o) This was a gift from my Foster Mom and we both love it and get lots of complements on it!

Award Season!

I can come out now the storm is mostly over, just a little rain today which I think I can handle. Some good did come out of the storm though...I got my first blog awards!! Two of them in the same day! They were from Dozer and Mina & Celeste, thank y'all! I wish I could give them straight back, but I don't think that's in the rules.

The first award I got was the Fan award from my pal Dozer which will come in really handy in Texas this summer, and as Dozer pointed out it's cordless so I can take anywhere. Also it's pink!! Thanks for being a fan, I'm a fan of yours too!!
I'd like to pass this on to blogs that I'm a fan of:
  • PittieBoo, my foster mom who is so awesome!!
  • Sprite, who I don't think is that odd
  • Walter, he writes some interesting stuff about us pets
  • Inara, because pitbulls really do make the world go round!
The next one from Mina and TEAM CELESTES is really neat, I'm not sure exactly what it means because it's in spanish and even though I live in Texas I don't know much spanish, but this is what it said with it...

“The award states that “This blog invests and believes in PROXIMITY - nearness in space, time, and relationships!”

In other words, “These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written text into the body of their award.”

Wow so 8 more blogs...I hope it's ok I repeat a few because they are different awards. Here goes my other eight:
  1. Miles and His Minions
  2. Prairie Dogs, they're in N. Texas like me!
  3. PittieBoo, I'll give my foster mom this one too, but only if she promises to write that post about how she found me
  4. Sprite
  5. Happy Pit Bull she does a lot to help us pibbles out!
  6. Pit Bulls Pounding the Pavement, because they are doing lots of work too
  7. Tank, He's funny and handsome
  8. Trinity, because she's a great example of a pibble!
Thanks again to Dozer, Mina and Celeste for giving me my first awards. And thanks to all those I gave them on to for writing such fun and creative blogs. There were many more I wanted to give to but I think some of ya'll just gots them!

Visitors!!

I got some visitors yesterday evening!! It was my FM (foster mom) and her little person they called Beckett. He was so awesome because he was the perfect height to lay my kisses right on his face without even having to jump. Oh and he loved throwing yellow balls for me too, he never got tired of it just like me. I hope he comes around more often!!

Beckett and FM also brought me some great gifts! I got a cool new collar tag that is silent when it's on...no more jingling around!! You just don't know how frustrating it is to be making jinglies when you're trying to sneak around the kitchen to find crumbs only to be caught because of the noise my tags make! They also brought me a new toy, a 'Big Mean Kitty' which I'm working my hardest at getting the stuffing out.

Mom said they also brought her a really cool calendar from Bad Rap that she's been wanting to get for herself. She says it's full of cute pictures of other rescue pibbles. But I just don't get why she wants to look at other so-called-cute pibbles when I'm sitting right in front of her...humans never cease to amaze me.

Thanks FM and Beckett!! Come back soon!!

Best Cuz

So family is my life and I couldn't be happier with the one that found me in this world, from my foster mom, to my mom, my FLF, my Grandparents, and so on...especially my best cousin.

His name is Roscoe and he's a rescue like me which made us have an instant bond when we first met. He's really pretty cool and a ton of fun to play with. This Christmas we got to go on what my mom called a ski trip, but I don't think R and I ever got to do any skiing. We did get to play in this stuff my mom called snow, which is this awesome fluffy white stuff that you can stick your face in and lick like water. I'll put some pictures of that up later.

But anyway, like I said R is cool because he lets me share his things (well most things), on this trip I got to borrow his antler and bone, he also let me borrow his bed which was like mine at home, but mine is prettier because there is pink on it. We enjoyed playing in the snow together, playing tug sometimes, and he liked to chase me when I was playing fetch; he actually started learning what that was all about too. So family, especially cousin's can be pretty cool. If you have a chance I suggest you get a cousin to play with.
Thanks R Buddy!!

I found my Foster Mom online!!

So my mom just told me my foster mom is online too!! How cool is that?!

She's the first person who brought me to live the great life I have right now, I couldn't thank her enough for saving me from the dirt lot across from her work. She used to visit me on her lunch breaks, first taught me to love car rides, and gave me special treats! She's so awesome because I'm not the only dog she's every rescued and certainly won't be the last!! Check out all the other things she does for dogs here:
http://babiesandbeasts.blogspot.com/

She gave my mom this picture to put up from Christmas time...If you look closely I think I still have a little peanut butter on my lip...how embarrassing!! But mom says it's really cute.

Isn't my foster mom a great photographer?! I'm so lucky she found me!!
